GENERAL PROJECT

Whittingham Sewage Treatment Works Upgrade

We are investing £500k to improve the performance of our sewage treatment works at Whittingham. The work will involve an upgrade of the storm water storage provision. This will aid NWL in improving the quality of rivers and coastal waters for the benefit of people, the environment and wildlife.

Update by Rachel Rutter

Good afternoon,

This week the tank base has been completed and the team have constructed the wall shutters.

The walls have been poured ready for temporary use.

Over night starting Thursday 28 March 2024 a pump will be in use over the bank holiday weekend, we do not anticipate this to cause any disruption.

Thank you for your time. Have a great weekend!

Please contact us direct if you have any questions at nwl.customer@esh.uk.com.
