Spacial Geomatics have been in the area this week working within Northumbrian Water assets. Their work will continue into next week while they complete manhole surveys. The work will cause minimum disruption and no traffic managment will be in place.  The crews will manage the works using cones and priority signs, to enable the local traffic to continue flowing.

Spacial Geomatics have now completed their work for the moment and are giving Onsite their time to shine. Onsite will be installing flow monitors within Northumbrian Water assets WC Monday 8 April 2024. The work will cause minimum disruption and no traffic managment will be in place.  The crews will manage the works using cones and priority signs, to enable the local traffic to continue flowing.

We wanted to provide an update as next week our contract partners, Spacial Geomatics, will be in the area carrying out inspections on Northumbrian Water assets.  This work will cause minimum disruption, no traffic managment will be in place.  The crews will manage the works using cones and priority signs, to enable the local traffic to continue flowing.  The inspection work itself will take up to 2 hours on each asset.

Good afternoon,

We just want to introduce ourselves to you all, we both work for the contract partner, ESH Stantec who will be delivering the work in this area. You may see our crews in the area carrying out works, please feel free to approach the crews and ask any questions.  Rachel and I, will also be out and about over the next year whilst these works take place.  Both of us are happy to answer any questions or find out any information you require.  We will endeavour to update this portal with information as we move around the area, please feel free to post any comments and we will be in touch.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am Ian Davison, the Northumbrian Water Project Manager, I will be looking after this feasibility study which will be delivered by Northumbrian Water’s delivery partners Esh / Stantec. 

The data collection phase of this investigation is getting underway, you can expect to see Esh in and around Berwick and Spital gathering site information to allow our Technical Consultant Stantec to gain a better understanding of the performance of the network and identify the interventions required to improve catchment resilience reducing the likelihood of environmental incidents.  

We will be keeping you updated as our plans progress by sharing our whereabouts with you on this portal. The project team will be working in partnership with all our external stakeholders to ensure a successful project outcome. We’d like to hear from you if you have any feedback or want to make us aware of any drainage issues in your area.
